Who we work with

Organisations where AI must earn its keep, and be run with care.

Two professionals in conversation at a meeting table.

Legal, finance and accounting firms. Every output has to be defensible.

Aged care, disability and NDIS, allied health. Staff hours are the most precious thing you have, and the people you serve can't carry the cost when AI gets it wrong.

Not-for-profits, peak bodies and government agencies. You answer to members, funders and the public, so anything AI touches has to be transparent and accountable.

We've spent years inside these sectors. We know what running AI with care has to mean before it goes anywhere near your operations.

Four steps from conversation to compounding ROI

How it works

Every managed service engagement starts the same way: an honest look at what's worth doing. Then we prove it works small, deploy it for real, and run it for as long as it earns its place.

  1. Discovery

Two to four weeks together: we look at your operations, identify the workflows worth automating, and build the ROI case. You leave with a prioritised plan whether or not we go further.

  2. Pilot

Two to four weeks to build and run a small version of the workflow against your real data. You see the outcome before you commit to a managed service. If it doesn't earn its place, we both walk away.

  3. Deploy

Production-grade build on our private infrastructure, integrated to your systems, governed to ISO 27001 standards. Documented, monitored, ready to scale.

  4. Run

We operate the workflow, watch the metrics, tune the models, manage the incidents, evolve it as your business changes. You see what's running, what it's costing, and what it's returning. Transparent contract terms.

The first conversation is the same whether you end up with a managed service or just a clearer plan.

The same faces from Discovery to Run.

Who runs your AI

Behind every managed service is a small, dedicated team – a principal accountable for the outcome, engineers who build and operate it, and a designer making sure it shows up well to your team. You meet them during Discovery, and they stay with you for the life of the service.

What we've always done

The discipline behind the AI.

Strategy, governance and systems engineering - the foundations we were built on, long before generative AI.

Strategy

An AI roadmap prioritised by value to your organisation against the resourcing each move really takes, so you invest where it compounds.

Governance

Policies, procedures and enablement, built with your decision-makers into one robust approach, designed to identify opportunities, manage risks and add value to your AI operations. We've implemented ISO 42001 AI management systems, the Voluntary AI Safety Standard and the AI.gov.au Essential AI Practices across the public and private sectors.

Systems Engineering

A decade building AI systems means we understand, and control for, how AI and machine learning behave in your processes. We fine-tune and build models across structured data, text, vision and audio - handed to your team to run, or kept running on our managed AI infrastructure.

James Gauci, Founder of Cadent

From our founder

“Most people put AI in to cut costs. We put it into places where getting it right adds value, and protects something that matters - someone's care, someone's livelihood, someone's trust. That's the work I wanted to do. It's why we put proven methods behind every system we run, so it stays accountable long after it goes live.”
